About Grad Nite

College Park Grad Nite

Grad Nite is a safe, drug and alcohol-free all-night affair that is organized through the Senior Events Committee, the help of hundreds of volunteers and monetary donations obtained by local businesses. It is an annual parent-sponsored event. It was developed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in 1985.

Immediately following the commencement ceremony, graduates will meet at CPHS to board transportation that will take them to the Grad Nite venue. Grads will be treated to an all-inclusive, all-night affair to celebrate the end of their high school days!. Graduates will be bussed after graduation to the location/venue and can be picked up at the end of the event back at CPHS (time TBD).

You can rest assured knowing that your Senior is celebrating in a safe, supervised, alcohol and drug free environment.

Grad Nite consists of games, raffles and prizes, hot food stations, dessert bar and a take away goody bag…lots of music, dancing, karaoke, live entertainment, and many more amenities throughout the night! There are memories to be made and memories to be shared one last time!

The committee is formed by parent volunteers. We all meet once a month during the school year, to review the planning of the event. We are always in the search of new talented parents that want to volunteer their time and skills to help make this event possible to our senior grads. If you are interested in knowing more about us, join one of our meetings to see what we are all about. Interest in volunteering, check out the Sign Up Genius for many opportunities to help – see link below!

It’s an event no one will want to miss!
